مدونة strontium90Windows is more widespread, and therefore, more vulnerable: Is it really the case?أرسل من قبل strontium90 في الإثنين, 2008/07/21 - 1:40am.
Just read an article that nicely refutes this argument which tries to justify inherent vulnerabilty problems with Microsoft Windows operating systems and software. Even though their permitting conditions are quickly resolved, notice how the work-around of several Linux viruses described in the article boils down to few good practices and general rules of thumb followed not only by Linux users but by Unix users community at large. قراءة المزيد | 4 تعليقات | قراءة: 292

The difference between strontium90 and a certain mod is that the former doesn't take advantage of his position and the public opinion to push his case presenting plays on words in guise, and that he certaily doesn't put his and others dirty laundry in front of the public. Have nice and productive days y'all. 5 تعليقات | قراءة: 902

Once and for allأرسل من قبل strontium90 في الأربعاء, 2005/11/16 - 4:12am.
I had to say this a long time ago, concerning topics that have certain religious or political colouring that break into CSC-SY forums once in a while, regardless of the fact that initiators are, ironically, often members familiar with forum rules. First of all, ladies and gentlemen, would you say that you definitely can talk and express your opinions about a topic, that may potentially interest you or that you may have opinions about, in all circumstances and with anyone? The answer is obviously no. Guys, would you use profanity or tell a certain class of jokes in the ladies' presence?! And so it is here! Wouldn't I fancy running discussions about existential matters that often bypass the entire religious apparatus? I would; because arts, philosophy, civilizations and humanitarian sciences that all pour in the same vein are my major interest, far more than this petty computer thing. Wouldn't I enjoy hot political arguments, often flavored with bashing and bickering? I most certainly would; and who can (most unfortunately) have more political tornados to live with than us, Middle East inhabitants, and Syrians in particular? However, I'm no blindman.
